Sandwell Provincial Park. Gabriola Island, BC

This is just one of the many beautiful beaches on Gabriola Island. Park in the parking lot at the end of The Strand, and walk down the trail, about a 5 minute walk to this secluded bay. This is a long sandy beach and gorgeous views of the Straight of Georgia, a great place for a picnic or to spend the day. There are steep parts on the trail which may make it difficult for those with mobility challenges & strollers.
