Gabriola Farmers Market. Shopping Locally
If you’re on Gabriola on a Saturday anytime from the May long weekend to Thanksgiving weekend, you won’t want to miss the Farmers’ Market. Starting at 10 am and ending at noon, the market is a fun event for locals and visitors alike.
The ability to buy fresh produce, artisan breads is a large perk in the Market experience. Gabriola is known as “Isle of the Arts” and no where is that more apparent than at the market, with a wide variety of hand crafted offerings many made with local sustainable materials. Come on and enjoy the ambiance of the local buskers who are there to entertain.
Coffee and breakfast is available on site as well. You’ll find the market just a short walk (or a very short drive) from the ferry landing, at the corner of North Road and South Road, at AGI Agricultural Hall.
