Curious on your 2019 Property Assessments for properties located within British Columbia?

For those who don’t want to wait for the property notices to come out in the mail, the annual updated property assessment information for 2019 will be posted online on January 2, 2019 at:  https://www.bcassessment.ca/Property/AssessmentSearch?sp=1

Your online search allows you to perform map searches or by property address you can compare  your assessed values with other properties and view comparable properties that have sold.  

The website provides a wealth of information including property value trends for different regions within the province.

Assessments can be appealed, but be aware there is a short window to discuss with your area assessor, and if need be file an appeal by 31 January:  https://info.bcassessment.ca/services-and-products/Pages/Property%20assessment%20review%20process.aspx .
